한국코카콜라는 최근 일본 경제보복 조치로 발생한 일본 상품 불매운동과 관련해 자사 제품은 일본 제품이 아니라는 입장을 5일 밝혔다

 

 

이날 오후 한국중소상인자영업자총연합회(이하 총연합회)는 서울 종로구 일본 대사관 앞에서 기자회견을 열고 "무역보복을 획책하는 일본 제품의 판매중지에 돌입한다"고 밝혔다. 

이와 함께 총연합회는 일본 불매 상품을 언급했다. 한국코카콜라가 판매하는 ‘조지아 커피’와 ‘토레타’가 여기에 포함됐다. 

한국코카콜라 측은 "우리나라를 포함해 여러 나라에서 판매되고 있는 조지아 커피와 토레타는 일본코카콜라가 아닌 코카콜라 글로벌 본사에서 브랜드에 관한 모든 권리를 소유하고 있는 제품으로 일본산 제품이 아니며, 한국코카콜라에서 독자 개발한 제품으로 전량 국내에서 생산 및 판매되고 있다"고 설명했다. 

이어 "해당 제품의 판매는 일본코카콜라의 실적과는 무관하며, 이로 인해 로열티 등 어떤 경제적 이익도 일본으로 지급되는 것은 전혀 없다"고 덧붙였다. 

이날 총연합회가 언급한 일본 불매 상품에는 마일드세븐, 아사히, 기린, 조지아, 토레타, 유니클로, 데상트, 미쓰비시, 혼다 등이 포함됐다. 

일본 정부는 지난 1일 한국에 대한 반도체와 디스플레이 패널 핵심 소재 3종류의 수출 규제를 강화했다. 일본 정부는 공식적으로는 ‘안전 보장상의 이유’라고 밝혔지만, 지난해 10월 한국 대법원이 일본기업이 강제징용 피해자에게 배상을 하라는 판결을 내리자 ‘경제 보복’에 들어간 것으로 알려졌다.

Korea Coca-Cola said, "Georgia coffee and Toreta, which are sold in many countries including Korea, are not products of Japanese origin but are developed by Coca-Cola Korea All products are produced and sold domestically. "

 

"The sales of these products are not related to the performance of Coca-Cola Japan, and therefore, no economic benefits such as royalties are paid to Japan at all."

 

MILD SEVEN, Asahi, Giraffe, Georgia, Torreta, UNIQLO, Desert, Mitsubishi and Honda were among the boycott products mentioned on the day by the Federation.

 

The Japanese government has tightened regulations on export of three core materials for semiconductors and display panels to Korea on July 1. The Japanese government officially said it was a "safety guarantee reason", but it was reported that the Supreme Court of the Republic of Korea entered into "economic retaliation" when a Japanese company ruled in October of last year that a Japanese corporation was required to pay compensation to the victims.
